Who We Are
For the purpose of promoting economic and population growth throughout the county, the Stafford County Commission supported the development of Stafford County Economic Development (EcoDevo) which was established in 2011. EcoDevo is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. While separate from the County government, EcoDevo does receive an annual appropriation from the County based on 1 mill of County valuation to operate and carryout economic development projects in the county. That being said the largest part of EcoDevo’s annual budget comes from securing competitive grants.
